The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming special needs primary school in Hull. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
As part of the Shape A Life programme, you’ll be fully supported in your role, gaining experience that’s invaluable whether you're considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, social care, or speech and language therapy.
What to Expect:

Provide 1:1 and small group learning support to children with special educational needs

Assist with planning and delivering engaging, inclusive classroom activities

Foster emotional and social development by promoting a positive, safe environment

Support pupil behaviour, encouraging independence and self-confidence

Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to meet individual learning goals

Play an active role in school life and help all students feel included and valued

What You Need:

A 2:2 degree or higher (any subject)

A strong desire to work with children and young people
