You’ll support Year 11 pupils working towards a Grade 4 in GCSE Maths, helping them build understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
🔍 About the Role
You’ll work with teachers and the SENCO to provide focused Maths intervention and support.
You’ll help learners strengthen key skills, stay motivated, and develop the resilience to achieve their GCSE goals.
The school also offers teacher training from September 2026 — an ideal next step for aspiring teachers.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
🧮 Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with GCSE Maths preparation
✏️ Assisting in planning and delivering engaging Maths activities
🌈 Encouraging focus, participation, and positive behaviour in lessons
🤝 Building supportive relationships with pupils and staff
🎯 Helping students build confidence with challenging topics
