Are you a Psychology or Education graduate who wants to help young people settle confidently into secondary school life?
This role focuses on emotional regulation, independence, and early intervention — supporting Year 7 pupils as they adjust, grow, and thrive in their new environment.
🔍 About the Role
You’ll support Wave 1 and Wave 2 interventions, helping pupils manage transitions, routines, and expectations in the classroom.
Working alongside the SENCO and pastoral team, you’ll build trust, promote self-belief, and encourage independence in learning.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
👩🏫 Supporting small-group and 1:1 sessions for Year 7 pupils
🧘 Helping students self-regulate and develop emotional resilience
🎯 Encouraging motivation, focus, and engagement in lessons
🌈 Creating calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom spaces

🎓 Psychology, Education, or related degree (2:2 or above)
💬 Calm, empathetic, and reliable
🤝 Strong communication and relationship-building skills
🧠 Passionate about mental health and young people’s development
