This is your chance to support Year 11 pupils in a Sandwell secondary academy, helping students working towards a Grade 4 in their GCSEs to grow in confidence, build skills, and achieve success.
🔍 About the Role
You’ll work with teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support in English and Maths.
You’ll help students close learning gaps, stay motivated, and develop the self-belief needed to succeed in their exams.
The school also offers teacher training opportunities from September 2026 — making this a strong first step for aspiring teachers.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
📖 Providing 1:1 and small-group support in English and Maths
✏️ Helping plan and deliver engaging activities focused on GCSE success
🌈 Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
🤝 Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils
🎯 Motivating students to stay focused and achieve their goals
📊 Tracking progress and adapting support to meet individual needs
