The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic special needs primary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with a variety of needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
As part of the Shape A Life programme, you’ll receive full support and guidance throughout your placement, gaining hands-on experience that will serve as a springboard into careers in education, psychology, speech therapy, or social care.
What to Expect:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs

Support the emotional and social development of pupils through positive relationships

Assist in lesson planning and classroom activities alongside the class teacher

Monitor pupil progress and help tailor learning activities

Promote inclusion, participation, and a sense of belonging for all pupils

Uphold positive behaviour and model high expectations

What You Need:

A degree (2:2 or above in any subject)

A passion for working with children with additional needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills
