Shape A Life is working in partnership with a Children’s Residential Care Home in Pentyrch, Cardiff to offer graduates the chance to gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with complex needs. You’ll become part of a dedicated and supportive team, making a real impact every single day.

💷 Salary: £13.60 per hour
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📄 Contract Type: Full-time | 35–40 hours/week | Temporary Shift Work (including 1 weekend per month)

🙌 In this role, you will:

Support young people with complex health, learning, and emotional needs
Encourage independence and empower daily living skills
Help children take part in fun, meaningful activities
Promote inclusion and advocate for the voices of those you support
Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and a trauma-informed team
Complete essential training and play a key role in a nurturing, safe, and inspiring home
