Job Title: Children’s Support Worker
Location: Harwich
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary Shift Work (35-40 hours per week, including 1 weekend per month)

About You:
Whether you’re a graduate looking to start your career in social care or an experienced support worker seeking a fresh opportunity, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a positive difference
- A graduate with a 2:2 or above in your bachelor’s degree
- Ideally, you have experience working with children, especially those with additional needs
- You have a background or interest in SEND
- Flexible, proactive, and excellent in communication
As a Children’s Support Worker, You Will:
- Provide compassionate personal care and encourage independence
- Support young people with complex health, physical, and learning needs
- Foster social inclusion and personal development through activities
- Promote inclusion, acceptance, and integration for every child
- Collaborate with families, external agencies, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication
- Help create a safe and engaging environment that supports the well-being of young people
- Participate in mandatory training and maintain high standards of practice
- Take on additional duties such as sleeping-in shifts and weekend work
